- Hundreds of unabridged audiobooks including latest bestsellers, book club favorites, award-winning authors, classics, the Bible and language instruction courses suitable for intermediate and ESL students
- e-books such as scholarly monographs, reference works, literature and fiction and publicly-accessible titles
- NetLibrary eAudiobooks can be listened to on a wide range of portable devices including portable music players, portable media center, Pocket PCs and even select smartphone devices.
- eAudiobooks can be downloaded by clicking on the "chain" icon in the catalog listing or full record, and entering your library card number and PIN. You will then be connected to the Netlibrary site and can choose from a number of download options. You can identify eAudiobooks by their call number (WEB) and home library (Division of Libraries) if there are multiple listings for a given title, click on the "have you read" booklist to see a list of new eAudiobooks, or select the option below to search only for eBooks and eAudio. - Alternatively, to search only within the eContent collection, log in with your library card and PIN, go to the new search screen, and put a check in the Search only eContent box.
- Type in your search term or terms.
- Click on one of the blue buttons for Words & Phrases, Author, Title etc. to start your search. [NOTE: The eContent search limits your search to just NetLibrary e-Books, NetLibrary/Recorded Books e-audio books, and online government documents. If you wish to limit your search further, do a Custom Search and select one of these Types: E-Book, Downloadable Audio E-Book, Gale Virtual Reference or Government documents online.]
- Select the title you are interested in from the list that appears and click on the blue "Full Record" button to see the item's record in the catalog.
- To check out the E-book click on the
button in the lower-right corner. Enter your library card number and PIN at the next screen and you will then be taken to the NetLibrary web site to complete the checkout. - Choose the file size you want to use. Radio quality is the quickest to download and is good for listening on the computer. Once you made your selection and clicked on the link the download will begin. If needed tell your computer where to save the file to so that you can find it when you are done.
- The loan period for e-audiobooks is three weeks.
- To download the book to a portable device, you will need to download the NetLibrary Media Center to your home computer. The NetLibrary site will guide you through the downloading process. Once you have installed the media center, you can download to your portable device with one click

- Always login to the catalog on the front page, upper right-hand corner of the purple title bar with your barcode and PIN.
- Type in your search term or terms.
- To search just the eContent collection put a check in the Search only eContent box.

- Select the title you are interested in from the list that appears and click on the blue "Full Record" button to see the item's record in the catalog. If your search only returned one item, you will automatically be taken to the record.
- To check out the E-book click on the
button in the lower-right corner. You will then be taken to the NetLibrary website to complete the checkout. - Create a Personal Account for yourself at the NetLibrary site (box on the right) to use each time you visit the NetLibrary site. This account will let you renew your audio e-book, take notes in e-Books, and see a list of past activity.
- Be sure to write down and keep handy your NetLibrary login and password.
- When your book record comes up, click on View ebook.
- E-books are only viewed on a computer and cannot be downloaded as a file to a computer or to a handheld device
